Lighthouse Hospice Group offers a compassionate, family-centered approach to respond to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our patients.

The following expert services are readily available:

Physician
All medical care is authorized by the patient's Attending Physician and/or Lighthouse Medical Director.  Our Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner will provide personal attention to each patient by conducting home visits.

Nurses
Our nurses make weekly visits and are on call twenty four hours a day.  They monitor the patient's condition, assure pain management and assist with quality of life issues.  They also provide direct access to the physicians.

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
Our CNAs are available as often as needed to provide assistance with personal care such as bathing, feeding, and light housekeeping.

Spiritual Counseling
Our chaplains offer to care for the spiritual needs of patients and their families.  They work closely with staff at Lighthouse Hospice Group to ensure quality patient care.   Emotional support and companionship are also available for those who request non faith-based interaction.

Social Workers
Our social workers provide education, support and can connect you to the resources available in your local community.  Services and on-going support are offered to both patients and family members.

Volunteers
Community volunteers are trained individuals who actively make a difference in the lives of our patients, family members and the community as a whole.  When available, they will assist our team in offering support and direction regarding patient and family needs. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, you can find more information here.
